Tilesafe Uses

Tilesafe Membrane system has been developed to provide waterproofing beneath ceramic tiles in bath/shower rooms and other wet room areas.

Specification

M40 - Stone/Concrete/Quarry/Ceramic Tiling/Mosaic, in accordance with NBS Clause 470.

Tilesafe Jointing Compound is flammable and should be used in well-ventilated areas away from sources of ignition. The product can affect sensitive skins. Gloves or barrier cream should always be used by operatives and hands thoroughly washed at the end of each working period. Do not allow the product to enter watercourses. Full health and safety instructions are contained on the material safety data sheets, and these must be referred to before use.

Supply

Availability - Tilesafe is available from CCL Specialist Supplies. Packaging is as detailed below. Contact us for ordering information.

Storage

Tilesafe Membrane, and its ancillary products, should be stored in original cartons. The products should be kept upright, protected from frost, and out of direct sunlight. i.e. below 35 °C. Cartons should not be over-stacked.

Care should be taken to ensure the temperature is at least 10 °C. Conditioning of the membrane in a warm area, prior to use, will enhance its adhesion properties during application.
